Since 1949, Oscar FRECH has been on the forefront of die casting technology. In 1970, FRECH expanded globally in both hot and cold chamber markets. Today FRECH has 12 global offices along with machine manufacturing operations in Germany, Asia, Spain, Poland and USA.
FRECH’s longevity and commitment to research and development is an integral part of their success. Because FRECH’s business is dependent only in the die casting market, they commit a large portion of their profits to R/D.
On an annual basis, FRECH manufactures between 150-200 hot and cold chamber machines annually. Currently, over 5000 machines are in operation globally, approximately 270 in North America ranging up to 2500T clamping capacity.
FRECH markets include hot and cold chamber machines for aluminum, zinc and magnesium. FRECH also owns peripherial equipment operations for spray, ladle equipment, hot oil units, hot chamber furnaces and tooling. FRECH’s operation in Germany is unique to die casting because we are the only supplier who manufactures all components of the die casting machine on site.
